I'm afraid my project Nintendo/Quadra 475 has fizzled out. However, I'd like it to go to a good home, perhaps a fellow comrade who could continue it's faithful journey towards...something...? Anyway, it's a LC 475 mobo transplaneted into an empty 8-bit Nintendo case with 20MB of total RAM (1x 16MB SIMM), 1MB of VRAM (2x 512k SIMMs), a 2GB 7,200 rpm hard drive and (most importantly) a 25MHz full '040 (taken from a Quadra 660av). There's no floppy, but the PSU fits nicely. The hack isn;t quite complete, but I have installed some screws to hold the mobo to the bottom of the NES case and a coupl hinges on the NES case so that it can be opened and closed easily, however the hard drive and PSU are not actually secured anywhere, they're just sitting inside the case on top of the mobo. The machine works great, however I no longer have a static-freq monitor to use it with, and my plans to use it as a server have been superceded by my wanting to Mystic-ify my ColorClassic. For those interested, I can send it as-is, or with a power cable and ADB keyboard. I don;t think have any extra ADB mice left, but I'll take a look. As this is a pretty unconventional item, I'd prefer to take offers rather than name a price. Email, IM or post here if you'd like to grab it, and I should be posting some pics of it on my hardware page soon. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

That's the one! Looking around, I rally don;t have any Nubus cards left that I'm willing to part with, but I do have some SCSI cases, lots of cables, a IIfx case, and some other junk. I'll try to IM you tomorrow morning. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hardware Page: http://cineware.sytes.net |

I have school in the daytime now, and cannot respond to any IMs at this time. probally afternoons, and evenings (after 8) are the best times to catch me. anyway, awaiting your email...
