Does anybody know of anywhere other than cablemakers.com to get a hold of 2.5" to 3.5" SCSI adapters? They have them available at the bottom of this page, however a single adapter, with tax and the cheapest shipping they offer, comes to nearly $30.If you're wondering, I'm finally trying to get my ColorClassic Mystic + Internal, Slot-Loading CD-ROM hack up and running. I just put in a bid for a LC 575 mobo on eBay and I already have a 500MB 2.5" hard drive and slot-loading SCSI CD-ROM ready for the hack, but no adapter. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

I got one from Cablesonline.com last year, but they don't appear to have them anymore. I believe it was a clearance item when I got it, so they're probably gone for good now.-Chad

I'll have to call Cablemakers.com and see if they actually have any. I went through their online order form and it seemed that they were in stock, I just didn;t feel like spending $30. I guess I have no choice... The price one must pay to strengthen their CC! 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hardware Page: http://cineware.sytes.net |
