This is a rare one in Holland, I believe Performa 200s where only sold in America.Anyway, it was offered for free. I phoned the guy offering it, and he says "well, it may not work". No problem, I thought: maybe a new HD, maybe a new PRAM battery. So I hauled it up, and when I left with it he says: "Hope you'll get it to work soon!". Not much chance, cause the entire motherboard turned out to be missing... oh well... it's free, and it's a rare beast 'round here. Maybe a LCII motherboard will fit... -- I'll never get out of this world alive... Liberated 15 68k Macs! |

No, an LCII motherboard won't fit. Not only does it use a different form factor, but it also doesn't have the correct port for the power/video/sound cable that goes to the analog board. A board from a Classic or Classic II, however, will fit.Nice score though! -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

hahaha...well next time you all go mac hunting... learn a lesson from tuuur, and check to see if the motherboard is there, you can do this by identifying whether or not is has ports (if it has many empty holes, it has no mobo) Official 68k videographer |
