my new project machine is almost finished.. it's an LCII mobo and power supply hacked into an IBM Aptiva 535 case.. it looks cool and it'll have an internal CDROM. now all i need is an 8" floppy cable..

Cool interspecies brain transplant. But won't that LC II mobo freakout when it finds its stuck inside a peecee body.

UPDATE:

the LCII hasn't been working very well. apparently there's either something wrong with it or it doesn't like PC cases. anyway, it won't boot half the time, and the sound circuitry looks fried.

so, i've put my Q610 mobo in it. hence the new name, Aptiva 610. everything is up and running, but i had to steal the CDROM drive out of my 7100.

it works. i just installed OS8 on it. eventually i may overclock it or just put a full '040 in it.. but the Stealth Q700 comes first! i'm a bit short on '040's right now..

the specs are:
Quadra 610 mobo/IBM aptiva 535 case
Apple CD 300+ CDROM
500MB HD
20MB RAM (this will be more eventually)
25MHz LC040
