(sorry for the double post from the 'fritter, but...)

I got back from a nearly two week long trip to Florida over the weekend and brought some swag back with me.  I went digging through my parent's garage in Miami and found all of my old software on floppies, six standard floppy-boxes full of it!  Along with that I got the external floppy drive for my Plus along with my dad's original blue Plus/SE case to carry everything around in.

When I got home, I set up my Platinum Plus with the external floppy and booted with my old System 6.0.7 disk, which I haven't used since 1994, and the bugger still works.  In fact, almost every floppy still works...I've been playing all my old games like Quarterstaff, Ashland, StuntCopter and Zero Gravity.  Plus, I fired up ConcertWare+ and found all the old songs I created still intact!

I'm in heaven...it's like re-living 1989-1994 all over again.  The Plus was my first computer and I'm glad to finally have a perfect one up and running again.  All I need now is an HD20 or SC20 to complete my package...and maybe a SCSI-to-ethernet adapter so I can put the Plus on my router and use it as a primitive server!

Sounds like what i did on the LC475 the other day. I rebooted into System 7.5.0, put my Xpand Xpo CD (remember those?) into the CD ROM drive, and walked around the show floor, walking up to virtual PowerMac 6100s and looking at video clips of the latest software. It was almost like being back in 195, with the LCIII.

One one of them "Apple CD-ROM collection" packages. Remember the ones that Apple put in a nice Cupertino package that were given names such as "Encyclomedia" or "CyberArcade II"? Other Mac veterans from the '94-'96 era will know what i'm talking about.
