I've been thinking about building an RC sub on and off for a few years now and I finally found something that should get me started.

I really can't afford a kit sub with a working ballast tank but this link shows you how to build something halfway decent with drain pipe. Looks like I could do something good for about 100 USD (I already have a hitec 6CH radio set)

I wish I could find a few more links like this one...

Ideally I'd be setting up a wireless video camera on it aswell.

They have a link to their forums about halfway down the page that may be of some help. I don't know that much about subs, mostly just the mini r/c cars.
