...an LC 575 with a 33mhz '030 chip? i got one from a school, and i'm not sure if it's some kind of creation from different parts or if Apple actually made one of these. there's nothing on the mobo that says what model it could have come out of, however, there wasn't any screws holding the back cover on...this leads me to believe that they swapped the board for a different one. also if anyone has an old version of system profiler that will work with 7.5.5, i could run that and see what the machine's ID# is.

I'd say that its an LC575 with mobo from a Performa 550. Sure, they could have always switched bezels to make it look like a 575, but because the screws and stuff are missing at the back, i reckon they probably switched mobos.
