You might want to check spelling on "Announcements."

Hey admins, could you delete the account "Ben"? I accidentally put in my name instead of my username.

Great looking site!

Seriously, what is the purpose of registering? That looks like YAF (yet another forum) to me.

The purpose of registering is that no one steals your user name, also you need to register to participate in polls.

so..... is this thing replacing the 68kmla or what? Why change to a LONGER adress? and what's with all the services- are you actually going to be offering those? I thought this site was hosted off of a mac in someone's basement in australia - how are you going to have the space or bandwidth for all that?

these services are going to be hosted off of a number high speed conections, (IE T1) using mirrored servers throughout North America to start. The purpose of registering is so that if you choose to sign up for the service, you are guaranteed a username. the forum is for tech support, and user input. the service is affiliated with the 68kmla, though anyone that wants to can register, whether or not they are part of the MLA. hopefully, the service will be up in beta form by march of this year. with nothing definitive until at least june.

I hope that this answers people's questions.

oh, and the forums are not replacing the 68kmla in any way. they are for tech support, and other internal matters of the .68k web service.

sorry about double posting, my cookies are borku;lated.

ummm, I still don't get it. I should register there, but I'm happy here. Is this place going away?

Not for the time being, at least...

As cats and others have said, it's primarily for discussion and tech support of the 68kMLA-affiliated internet services which should be starting fairly soon.
