Just stumbled across here from Google. 68k Freak (they're cheap) with a $15 dollar, Goodwill 840 Av. Desperately in need of info. Beast has an outboard HD, two internal HD's, internal TAPE drive (44mb, large format, I forgot what they called those things) same as an external and external Apple cd-rom. Enough dust to choke a D-9 Cat inside the case. Suggestions on vsimms, max, and any NuBus cards most gratefully accepted. Will be going into my network, mostly PC (dammit) with the highest OS reliable for this unit(more advice, please) Mac newbie, although I learned on these and am just now getting back.

Welcome aboard that's a nice machine you picked up there.

At least as far as the OS goes you want 8.1 It was the last version to officialy run on 68k Macs. I'd check out lowendmac.com if I were you they have profiles for pretty much all of the Macs with a few articles on each one.
