With Christmas only a few days away, you may have figured out what you've gotten for Christmas from someone else. If you do know, share with us!

I know so far that I got the DVD's of Ice Age and Goldmember, and a new digital camera (Olympus D-380).

Arg You sound as bad as my girlfriend! You'd think at 28 she'd have grown out of it, but noooo. I foolishly put her presents out last night and she's already been snooping around, sniffing, shaking and prodding them She's been doing the same thing everytime we go to her parents.

I go to all the effort of trying to suprise her and she can't wait for 2 days all she'll end up doing is spoiling the excitement when she actually gets them.

However I have no idea what I'm getting for Christmas. All I know is that I almost certainly won't get anything computer/zoid/hobby relataded as no one like to encourage my antics I always get the things I never knew I wanted and thankully people don't buy me any clothes these days!

The only reason I know is because I had to assist in the purchase of it. My parents have virtually no idea of what to get me this year, so I had to point out a few items I wanted. I had mentioned a new digital camera for a while, and my Mom mentioned it to me the other day about it.

Because I work at Target, and I get a 10% discount, and anyone in my family buying anything there saves a little, In the end, that camera only cost $177 (original price $179, add 8.5% sales tax)

I may be 20 years old, but I'm still a kid at heart.

I got a Vanguard Designer 1 Slimcase from my wife...you can see it at the the bottom of my hardware page. It's all brushed-aluminum and only 2.5" thick!

I got myself a Christmas present (before Thanksgiving): my new (well, refurb) TiBook!

Cinemo, where did you get the Vanguard case, and for how much?

I know I got:

an iSub
A pack of guitar strings
A Real Book (the original one)
A mousepad for my SparcStation
The Montgomery Brothers' Groove Yard

And I've worked out a trade to get a monitor and the SCSI cable for my SparcStation. The AppleDesign Powered Speakers that I never use, plus a StyleWriter 2400 that I never use, plus an extra Solaris 2.4 CD for a 19" Sun Trinitron monitor with a great picture. Sound reasonable?

My wife got it from Staples for $50...the PowerBook fits into it perfectly, however you're only left with enough room for a single jewel-case-style CD, three pens/pencils, 3+ business cards and maybe a Zip disk or a small (6' or so) ethernet or other cable. I have to put my power cord, headphones and everything else in another bag while travelling...however, it still KICKS A$$!

i got my 19" display in november that smoked during a power related problem in december. A replacement was shipped a couple of weeks ago and hasn't arrived yet, I'm becoming worried. Besides that, some money from grandparents that went directly towards my credit card bill.
