Yeah i know...the new iMacs are pretty cool, but i think my little Lime beauty w/ the 40 gig i recently put in it will do me just fine for a couple more years yet.

BTW: It has been possible to have a G4 in an iMac for a couple of years now. Anyone remember Newer Technology? They made G4 upgrades for tray loading iMacs.

Sonnet still makes one. It's ridiculously expensive for the power it yields. Newer's was too, but at least at the time it was slightly more reasonable considering what was top of the line

Actually, unless they recently introduced a G4 version, the Sonnet HARMONi is actually a 500 Mhz G3. Still pretty awesome power though, and a FireWire port to boot! Anyway, lets get this convo over and done with...remember, we're the 68k Macintosh Liberation Army. Not the iMac Liberation Army.
