Everybody does UT WAN Parties, MAF, AAF, what have you, but how about 4x4 Evolution? This doesn't seem to be that popular of a game with the Mac crowd, but I love it...I've been playing online just about everyday. Problem is, there's very few Mac users playing it. Other than myself, I've only found one other Mac users playing online, somebody named Pierre from France. So, I'd like to get a Mac or specifically 68kMLA gathering together on the 4x4 Evo servers.

If you don't already have the game, IM or email me sometime, I have it (the first version, anyway). I'm pretty sure that users of both the first and second version can play online simultaneously, so that's cool. It doesn't need that robust of a system, I used to play it on my 233MHz 7500 just fine, though i had to turn most of the graphic effects down or off. On my TiBook, I have to boot into 9 (the first version doesn't run in Classic) and it works well with everything turned all the way up.

Anyway, if anybody's interested, we can try to find a time that would be good and i could go onto the 4x4 Evo server and host a private game. Normally the best time for me would be weekdays between 8am and 2pm Pacific Standard time.

I'm pretty sure it is. I'm about to go online right now, so if you're able, run 4x4 and go to multiplayer. It should give you a server in Tenessee I think and once you're on there just look for "cinemafia".

maybe we can have a wan party with some game almost all of us can play. Something that REALLY dosen't need a new system. Something like
Diablo 1. Perhapps Starcraft. Any other ideas?

Scchicago, you can run 4x4 Evo 1 & 2 on PC, too! Oh wait, you're running Mandrake 9 now, huh?
