I want to extract the contents of an OS installer. This is like the OS 9 install in how it is just one file, no small seperate installers, that it gets data from.

I will give you the details, incase it will help (and I know its not quite 68k, but it is by no means a new or cutting edge thing)

I am trying to install OS X Server 1.2. Yes, that is 1.2, the sans-aqua version that came inbetween NeXT and OS X as we know it. However, I cannot get it to boot properly from the CD, and the installer requires that it is run from the CD's OS. Soooooo, I want to extract the installer data to a disk image so it will already be "installed" on that imagbe and then I can burn it and then I can "install it" and tehn I can have it working and *takes breath* yeah

So, is that possible?
