No, it isn't...Mac versions of video cards have a different flash status, so they aren't interchangable. You can flash PC video cards for use in macs, but the process can ofen lead to failure down the road.As for getting the V3 enabled in B2, I'm not sure if it's at al possible. 68k's were never even designed to have 3d acceleration... 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

What would be the point of running the Voodoo3 in Basilisk II anyway? AFAIK, there are no 68k native apps that can take advantage of its 3D acceleration.Official 68kMLA Music and NeXT Expert Macs Liberated: SE (2), LC, IIsi, PB 145b, Quadra 700 (2), LC 575, 6100 (2), PB 5300, PowerMac 5400/200, Performa 6400/180 PCs liberated from Windoze: 3 |

Basilisk II is very limited in it's scope. It does not emulate true hardware but rather does odd jumps in hoops and various loops to prevent a Mac from realizing that there is no Mac. So even if Basilisk II could support it, any 68K software that could use it wouldn't be able to....because this software would be looking for a hardware device not a piece of code. Emulators are very limited in thier scope, I run Basilisk II to replace my dead LC III, and I don't trust it to everything...it is uncompleted software. You mentioned speed problems in Basilisk. If you enable in the Basilisk II GUI to show real frame rate, it will show you what rate the emulator is running at. I usually get 83 frames per second which is the top it goes. (I always use DirectX for my windows) If your performance seems to be slower, then go into the 'Priorities" tab and set the various directx and displya functions to "above normal" and this should help. As a side note, I always disable sound because it takes quite a bit of CPU power, so this may help on your Celeron System. But, I really recomend you go out and buy a used Mac...a used 68K can be gotten for relatively cheap these days, some are under twenty dollars and will give you less headaches than the emulator.
