 Dead IIfx?

I just liberated a IIfx. Plugging in a power cable (confirmed good) into an outlet (confirmed good) and hitting the power button, or keyboard power button, does nothing at all. The logic board power connections to the PSU are fine, too. For the time being, I've swapped the video card to one of my IIci's, as I suspect the PSU is probably toast ..

Any advice? :)

I've fought with my IIfx a couple of times with the same problem

Have you
1) checked the condition of the 2 PRAM batteries under the metal tray that supports the drives? If they are dead the fx won't boot
2) pushed the on-off button firmly a couple of times in a row? Sometimes there isn't a firm contact.
