You can put any 2.5" SCSI HD into your new 180c. However, they are getting hard to find, due to the fact that most are now 9, 10 or 11 years old, and have suffered quite a bit of abuse. I suggest you try eBay or a local Apple dealer, as they may have one or two sitting around on their dusty back shelves. Also, good luck getting a drive for it thats over 800 meg. The bigger these drives get, the rarer they become. Good luck, and have fun with your 180c. I know i did, before it died a few days later....*sniff, sniff* -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

The PowerBook 180C takes old, 19.5 mm thick harddrives, while most newer 2.5" HDDs are 9.5 or 12.5 mm thick. That means you can take any recent 2.5" HDD and attach this doohickey to it, making it a compatible drive.,xtG .tsooJ -- RTFM |

LOL! I can't wait to hear the comments about the prospects of spending that much money on a bridge, half the comrades faint dead away at the mere mention of a $70 bridge for a 3.5" drive. Thanks for that link, I haven't seen those in quite a while. Now I can move the little 4 Gig drive out of my 2300c, put it into one of my 68k Duos and put a REAL monster into the PowerDuo! jt
