Check out the Auction here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11210&item=2080478073&rd=1 They're 16MB cards and they've got 500 of these up for dutch auction, starting at $10 each. I'm trying to see if they are compatible with the Newton before I go grab a couple, but I'm having a hard time finding out the specs. If anyone is actually using this brand and can vouch for it, then please let me know. I have an MP2100 coming soon ($135 w/AA battery tray, original stylus, adapter, screen cover, dongle and cables; the screen looked ok in the pic, but at that price and incl. accessories, I felt like I had to jump on it). How much extra memory (cards) would be suitable to get? Do applications take up a lot of space? I might send off for the UNNA CD set. LCIII, Duo280c |

For the full scoop on the types of flash cards that work go tohttp://www.chuma.org/newton/faq/newton-faq-hardware.html#IIB1 An abbreviated list of cards that will work in a 2100 are: AMD series D or AD linear Cards (also known as 5v/5v) Intel Series II (5v/12v) Intel Series II+ (5v/5v - they even work with 3v/3v) Intel Value Series 100 (5v/5v) Kami

I contacted the seller and he replied:"The manufacturer is Centennial. I think they are marketed as SMART cards. I understand they are the equivellaint of the Intel type II cards. Sorry I do not know more specs." Well if they really are, then I'll just go and bid on a couple. It would be way cheaper than those 32MB Pretecs that pop up every now and then. LCIII, Duo280c |

I just got my cards in today. They formatted and read/write just fine and report just over 15.6MB free. Now I'm going to fill one up with MODs. I love it when I hit a great deal :) LCIII, Duo280c
