It's been years since I've localtalked a machine running OS6, but I don't remember it ever being much of a trouble. I have a Performa running system 7.6 and a Powerbook running OS6. I have a serial cable (the cable is good because it networked the Performa and a Duo) running between the printer ports on both machines. On the PB, when I select chooser I get a warning "Sorry, Laserwriter cannot be used." This is a fresh install of 6.0.8L so what am I overlooking?

Thanks.

The problem with computers is they do exactly what you tell them to. Now where's that fuggin 'any' key?

Macs liberated thus far: SE-30, Performa 6320CD, Duo 280c and Powerbook 100.
