GAWHD!!!!

Is it hard to get a good server... or is it just me??
I couldn't find anything that I could do what i wanted with teh IIsi, and the iMac was simply oot of the question

I had a dell pentium 200MHz, but gave that away in favor of a Pentium II 400MHz
all the while i'm writing aletter to apple wanting an Xserve
Dad's PII400 will never come my way...
it had 128MB RAM, DVDrom, 10GB HDD, zip drive

Instead, i got my old PC back, this one's a Gateway Select 700
700MHz Athlon
64MB RAM (there's a story attached to this)
10 GB HDD
new in package ethernet card (pretty good one)

the RAM: tomorrow, I'm going to get some PC133 a 256 MB stick, I'll install .NET and it'll be going great

this setup works great... i like it as a great big loud esternal HDD for the iMac
