Before I put this lot on eBay I though I'd let you guys know about this stuff.

I have an XLR8 carrier card and 400 MHz (1MB cache) zif bundle with all packaging and manuals. I will sell them seperately The CPU on it own and the carrier card with the manuals etc. The CPU is rated at 400 MHz and has a 10 multiplier. However 1 week after I got it I overclocked it first to 450, rock solid 0 problems, so I went for 480 then 485.5 (48.5 MHz bus 10x multiplier) I ran it at 485 right up until now with the stock heatsink in my 9600 and I've had zero problems with it. The carrier card is also excellent and I've use a couple of other G3's in it without problems.

I also have 3 pairs of 64 MB dimms (2k refresh, play nicer with CPU upgrades)

Eventually I'll also sell the 9600 with the original 233 CPU some RAM CD and HD but no video.

Anyway as I'm in Aus at the moment and most of you aren't I imagine the smaller items are of most interest as I'll ship them internationally.

Summary
XLR8 G3 485 1 MB caches (jumpers on card to set multiplier)
XLR8 Carrier card with all manuals and packaging
6* 64 MB dimms 2k refresh

All items pulled from 9600, should work in 7(5,6,3)00 8(5,6)00 9(5,6)00
and simillar clones, the RAM will work in a few other machines email if you're not sure.

I'm open to offers email me at adamhope (WHOISAT} oldsmithy DOT freeserve (DOT] co 'DOT' UK

jeez, a little protective of the email?

anyway, I am interested in the XLR8 card, and possible the 9600 MoBo if you choose to part out the 9600, I am in west coast USA, so shipping should not be too horrendous.
anyway...

I sent you a response but I actually had a thought about protecting email address's. I've been thinking about this a lot recently as I've been teaching myself PERL and although I haven't one of the easiest programs I could write would search webpages and extract email address's. It could get most of them quite easily and possibly pick up some extra gubbins but it could harvest a lot of email address's. a better way would be XmyYnameCatDserver.Dcom remove caps at=@ when I get some bits of my website set up more securely I'll stop handing out my email and direct everyone to a form on my website.

Anyway this may be relevant to others I also have a PTP 225 case board PSU RAM CD floppy, no video no CPU board is 30 USD (60 AUD) board and case or board and PSU are 40 USD (80) The PTP is basically a 9500 in a bigger but lighter case with better cooling and more bays.
