I just got a Powerbook 100 and I need to load software on it. Does anyone in my are have an HDI30-50pin SCSI cable and Floppy drive I can borrow?

The problem with computers is they do exactly what you tell them to. Now where's that fuggin 'any' key?

Macs liberated thus far: SE-30, Performa 6320CD, Duo 280c and Powerbook 100.

Is this the same as what attaches to a Duo?

Yep, the Duo used an adapter, but the floppy that attached to it is the same. Weirdly, the early SCSI jacks on the old powerbooks were similar but they were square 30 pin instead of the floppy's square 20 pin.

I just landed a $10 drive off eBay so thanks to any who was going to respond.

On the right side of the panel where the ports are my PB100 has a cover with the following icon (please excuse my ASCII art). I could break it off to find out but I don't really want to.

Anyone know what it covers?

I have a Duo adapter and drive, but it never worked with my Duo, and I never sourced a service manual to give it the once over.
If your eBay drive fails or whatever, you're welcome to it for only shipping (just YOU, others have to ask nice and get me a $0.02 Euro coin & pay shipping).

The three backup batteries, the ones that make using a non-volatile, battery-backed-up RAM Disk on the BabyPB a JOY! They're in a swing-out tray. btw.

They are also the reason for the switch on the other side to cut out the backup circuit in long term storage.
