The QFW68KPB (Quest For a Working 68K PowerBook) project is about me getting a working 68k PowerBook. Its been going on for a couple of months now, and started with my 100, and as soon as it got the parts i needed to start it up, i find that the logic board is dead. DANGIT! Oh well, at least i have a nice external hard drive. However, i now have a possible opportunity of getting a 140 and using the display cable out of it for my 145B, which has no display cable. I'll get it when i get the money, and then hopefully, the Project will be successful! Either way, wish me luck, and i hope to make a reply to this topic sometime during the school holidays saying the 145B works! Pizzabox LCs RULE!!!!!!! Good luck to you. Hope your new 145B is built to last, with plenty of spare parts in case of failure.------------------ Captain Z - Sniper 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 17 68K Macs Liberated |

That would seriously be one strange beast. Very cool, but strange.
