This external SCSI drive case i picked up from the Shop on the day after Speech Night....it looks like it was inspired by Dana's Quadra 805 vHack! Its a 2 drive case, designed to fit two 3.5 inch devices vertically. One of the bays is front accesable, and is neatly hidden behind a little door. The case has all the curves and stuff of a Quadra 800 series case. It seems like it was made by "Mac Power".Piccie to come! -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

I remember that in the AppleDesign book... originally it was either the Q800 or the PM8100 but it was designed to be like dana's vHack... 'cepting for the fact that it was more like one of those Dell OptiPlexies where theyre beige and taller Desktops, but lesss wide and it was called "LeadBelly" I believe... they called the final Q800, 840, PM8x00 "fridge"I would LOVE to have a computer shaped like that.... ahh the hacking possibilities of something that size.... although... is there any mac motherboards that would fit inside? A G4 cube would also rearrange into that case almost perfectly as well, with some hacking im sure the PSU could even come inside and play to make a nice looking beige G4 cube.~The Penguin **| Want free 68kmla email? The G4 cube, though, had an elaborate cooling system. That is, it was arranged in such a way that air circulated very well. I think that a 605 would run much safer in a small space like that than a G4 would...{ candyPunk } { Captain of Observation, 68k MLA } { 68k Macs liberated: 4} { My baby: Q660av } |
