I think the large IDE HD should work, i haven't tried anything larger than 8 gig myself. For TV and video you need the TV tuner card and the Video I/O card as well as the software, not sure if you have them. I've forgotten the name of the application but if you have a Mac OS 7.5 or later install CD it should install the required software. There's a video startup extension and an application for tuning the TV and importing video.

See http://www.lowendmac.com/macdan/010219cl.htmlWhat you'll probably want to do is partition your drive into two. One small HFS partition with OS 8.1 to boot off of, and one large HFS+ partition for applications and documents. Exactly. Dont make the first partition any bigger than 2 gigs, or you'll waste a lot of space. -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

Only if you're running System 7.x or Mac OS 8.0 (not 8.1). If you are running OS 8.1, you can set up you disk like mine: 2 gig HFS partition: System folder, apps, other stuff 4 gig HFS+ Partition: Used to capture video from the VCR So if partitioned this way, your drive will look like this: 2 gig HFS partition: System folder, plus whatever you want 14.2 gig HFS+ partition: Whatever -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

Well, i got it...made one 2 gig partition and one 14.2 gig. Borrowed an OS 8 CD and installed that on the first partition. Everything works now, play video from my handycam and now i'm gonna try the tv tuner. Thanks ! Bert
