like the title says, i'm looking for a working portable cd rom for a 5300c, of course, the powercd would be the coolest, but whatever. I'll pay money or trade. email me andrew (at) andrew (dot) isa-geek (dot) com (no spaces, i'll keep those spam bots on theird toes, if they had toes of course.)

i have a powercd with NO power brick. when i put in the AA bateries, it powers up, but when i try to play audio CDs, it says err.

if that sounds like something you could use, i'd part with it.

yeah, i have the back piece, and i think an enet cable. I'll have to check with my boyfriend when he gets back into town on that one. My ideal would be to get it to play audio CDs, and mount it into my VW :) but i don't have time for such foolishness these days.[sigh]

So, yes, it's the UFO lookin CD player with the wedgie base. no cables, no wall-wart, and though it does power on, it says errr

i think you could get the wall-wart at ratshack. and the SCSI cbl i'll know about after thanxgivin'

:)
