Q: Why 68k? Aren't PowerPC's faster and better?
Among other things (which can be inquired about in the forums), 680x0 series Macs are unique in their sense of old-skoolness (1984-1994), exclusive in their value, and are widely available for liberation.

That is why my thread wasn't off topic.

Not to battle in the ranks here, but I'd say Tallgeese is valid.. his post was NOT off-topic.

-BUT-

1) Tallgeese: you should have put the quote from the website in his ORIGINAL post. Not doing so led to misunderstaning, and the resultant thread locking. We should all make sure that anything we are referring to is clearly referenced in our posts.

2) There is nothing left to be said in this current thread, and is now flamebait. I am locking it. I am also UNLocking the original, and putting the quote from the webpage in IT, and people can politely discuss is there are any language changes needed.
