either here or on the fritter a long long time ago when people were 950 crazed(prolly fritter) there was talk of this one game that could use multiple monitors and you could set up four one for each direction and put them around you and feel like you were in a plane. Dunno what it was called tho or anything like that.________________ foetoid, that's (fee-toy-duh) http://www.foetoid.doesntexist.com |

That game is "A-10 Attack!". I have (had?) a copy around somewhere, and I used it with my old 3 14" monitor PowerMac 7100/G3-266 setup a few years back. It was really really impressive, as the 'middle' screen shows the usual flight-sim stuff (cockpit, front view, etc.), while the 'side' screens show a left-and-right vew, giving the illusion of nearly 360 degrees of view. Pretty cool! Oh, and I'm pretty sure the demo of A-10 supports this feature, so if you've got a multi-screen setup, you can see for yourself. Later! I have an old version of MS Flight Sim for my SE. It's quite interesting to play it on a black and white screen, getting a little over a frame a second...--Beanie

F/A-18 Hornet was made by the people who did A-10 Attack (Graphic Simulations), supports 3 monitors and is better! The Underdogs have it for download...~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0

Wrong. A-10 Attack! and A-10 Cuba! were done by Parsoft. As for other good flight sims, anything in the F/A-18 Hornet series is good. A-10 Attack! and A-10 Cuba! are good sims also. I know that there are several helicopter sims and other sims; search Hotline for them. Descent isn't really a flight sim, but it's still fun to play. All of the Descent games were released for the Mac.
