My ebay-acquired PowerBook 165 came in the mail today! I am so happy! Except it only has a 12 minute battery life. Other than that, I love it! 230MB HD, 8MB RAM, RamDoubler 2...

Tallgeese has gone mobile!

Note: Since I have no documentation, I think the PB forum will be seeing an increase in dumb questions...

They're not dumb questions, Tallgeese, if they help us to keep another 68k Mac running free!
*grins and slaps you on the back in congratulation* Good work, soldier!

IMHO, buying a 68k from eBay isn't really liberating it, unless it's painfully obvious that a (dumb) PC user is selling it
(ie: "This is an old MAC. I think the motherboard is dead because when you turn it on, all there is on the screen is a disc with a flashing question mark. I'm selling it because it's old and worthless")

But whatever...

I think that's exactly what the seller from whom I obtained my Duo 280c put in their auction text.
