Well, at approximately 5:10 pm yesterday, I left the Shop for the last time ever. For those who are unaware, I used to do work experience at a local AppleCentre through a school programme. However, since I am graduating, the programme is over. I finished up some unfinished business, said my last goodbyes to all the Macs, and then left, after submitting an order for some stuff i may be interested in buying from them. Its been a great year-and-a-half. I've learnt tons about both Macs and PCs, had some excellent hands-on experience with all sorts of machines from Pluses to iMacs and G3s, got given tons of really cool stuff, plus i had unlimited access to the infamous TechStep, which I am going to take piccies of tomorrow.

Aaaanywayz, i thoguht you might like to hear how the story ended.

that sucks, dude.

But look at it this way, you spent a year and a half more at an apple center than myself or most of us here will, and i envy you for that.

Not to mention, you can always apply to work there again in the future as full employee.

I'm with those who said be glad you had that long! That must have rocked AND rolled, at the same time. Or something to that effect. I'll bet it was great. I do envy you. I've had a notion to look into applecare certification and see what kind of doors would end up opening down the road. Too bad I couldn't get that kind of experience. Well, good luck in whatever you'll do in the future, whether it involves apple or not. College ahoy! Ready to par-tay?

Yeah, it did rock and roll! You honestly dont' know what it feels like to have brand new iMacs and eMacs all a hand's grab away. The fact that i had unlimited access to all service manuals and other stuff was great too. I'm going back up North for Speech night though, so i'll see what stuff i can buy from them before i leave! By the way, i graduated on Friday! (details in new thread)
