Any info on how to make a wire to connect a Hard Drive to this Portable. SYstem 6.0.8 is ok but I have swapping floppies all the time. I have lost a whole LCD line on the screen, is there a way to check and recover it?

I don't understand the question, my portable has the usual Mac DB-25 external SCSI connector, are you talking about the internal cable or about some other "portable" (PowerBook) with the HDI_whoosiwhatsis connector?
