Just thinking about the games and things I played with when I was about 8 or 9 years old when I had my first mac experience (Mac 128k). One of the programs I really liked was some sort of music program. I had the notes and such on the screen and you could print sheet music on the imagewriter. There were stuff like symphonies and stuff you could listen to on your 128k mac. Anyone remember the name of this? How about a program called "Hendrix" where you move the mouse around to make electric guitar noises? Or any of the old mac demos. But maybe most of all... I remember playing "Daleks" the original black and white version. Anyone heard / seen any of these lately?Useless 6360av 16/1.2/8.6 :( SE 4/20/HD/6.0.8 :) Q840av - DEAD :`( Q650 256/230/7.6 Woot! Sounds like Concertware+, I used it first on my Plus in 1987 and then later on my PowerBook 160 from about 1989-1991. Here's a Japanese site that has screenshots of Concertware+ that might jog your memory. It's definitely the program I used back then. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

I used to have the original installation disks, but I lost them about 3 years ago. However, I do still have some oooooold tapes where I recorded songs that I wrote using it by running a cable from the Plus's mono output to a tape deck.666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

Yes I think that is it! I downloaded a bunch of old game packs last night too. Amazing how good sound the 1984 macs had. Certainly as good as any video game system during the 80's.How about any of the old mac demos that used to run on the screens at the computer store? I seem to remember one running on a compact mac that every few minutes I'd hear "Welcome to Macintosh" Or some of the cool ones they ran on the Quadras. There's a guy on Ebay who sells CD's packed with in-store Apple/Mac demos. He has all of the ones currently used in Apple Stores, but I'm sure he also has older ones. Check it out! quote: Cinemafia, sounds like time to make an mp3 of them for us :)
Sounds like a plan! I'll have to connect my tape deck to my TiBook and give Peak DV 3 a try. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

To get the instruments correct, put the music files and the instruments in the same directory. Otherwise it will play with all the same instruments. There appears to be an occasional lag on my SE. It might be sys7 causing it. I'll try 6 again.Useless 6360av 16/1.2/8.6 :( SE 4/20/HD/6.0.8 :) Q840av - DEAD :`( Q650 256/230/7.6 Woot!
