Yes, Happy Birthday to Marchie! You're finally able to legally buy alcohol! (Although, why would you want to? Wasted money that could be used to liberate 68K Mac's!)

Puts small candle in cupcake, lights it, sticks it in a carboard box, writes Marchie's address, mails it to him.

Box is on fire by the time it is at the post office.

a postal worker spots the flaming box and uses a fire extinguisher on it. he forgets to mention it and another worker walks by and notices white powder on and about box. haz mat team is called in, p.o. is evacuated and f.b.i. agents show up at captain z's door with a ziplock bag enclosing a fragment of singed box bearing his return address.

Thank you everyone! Indeed it is my b-day.

technically I won't be 21 years old for another 49 minutes, but whatever.

I'm actually going to go take the dog out.. and go the U of Michigan warehouse and see about a little birthday present-to-me/liberation.

Captain Z is seen being carried off by two FBI agents.

Poor Captain...maybe we should try to help him!
<unsheaths his PRAM battery of Immaculate Healing>

Wait, that won't help. Where's my 30-pin RAM SIMM of Volcanic Destruction?

first postal worker returns from lunch to find building cordoned off.

once co-worker fills him in, he approaches haz mat mobile command center with explanation of fire extinguisher usage.

f.b.i. returns shoelaces to captain z and releases same.

charges of arson are not considered, as who in their right mind would try to mail a lit candle.

incident written off as spontaneous cupcake combustion.

Geez, if that's happening all over the place, who has time to worry about antrax?? Who knows...the fruitcake my grandmother gave us could explode! It does have alcohol in it, after all. Say, what kind of cupcake was this?! Let's let him buy his own booze, guys.

My fam took Me to dinner last night, where I orderd "The beer Sampler"

It was at a brew pub, so it was all made there.. a Golden Ale, Pale Ale, Red, Stout, and a special Belgian White Ale.

The Red and Stout were my favourites but *ahem* I've known that for a while.

mmm, nothing like a good handcrafted beer. I spent two years working as the chef at a brewpub. "I need another pitcher of porter to make the marinade for the steak tips, hic!"

Tsk tsk!

On a related note, the portrait display cable still hasn't arrived yet. (and the tracking number has yet to arrive in my in-box) Any news?
