A copy of Rocketshare!

My stage II rocket is sitting here looking at me with a pleading expression on its PCB.

I want to make her happy.

Cheers!

What version does she require and how big is your mailbox?

Not sure... But I think the latest version is 1.35... I gather that any version over 1.3 will do the trick.

My least-restricted e-mail account will be ccourtatbigpond.net.au

Once again JT, you da man! Or as they say here... you little ripper!

Cheers!

email clawson over on fritter, he's the only one I know of with a working Stage II (sounds) like he has a half-bushel basket full of them), I think my rev. is probably 1.0, but I'll check it out. If it's 1.3 or later, do I need to figure out how to make a disk image or just shoot you the volume. I'm kinda new to sharing software, but Radius isn't around any longer to complain, soooooo!

ml5, if you have the original Rocket, RocketWare is far superior unless you have a really powerful Mobo CPU or a second Rocket to play with. It wasn't worthwhile at all on my IIx and I haven't tried it since then. One day I need to see if my '33 still works, I broke what I hope was only an SMT noise cap when I yanked the 040 to put into my 605 last year. That was before the founding of the MLA and my fairly recent discovery that some of my ancient "junk collection" is considered anything but a waste of storage cubic by anyone other than myself!

edit: Bad news, mine is 1.0 from 1992, so it won't do you any good at all, sorry to get your hopes up, B.

Prolly, wouldn't know, maybe the newer versions would be better too!

Ah well, the search goes on. I still wouldn't mind a copy of your v1.0 though if you get around to it....

Cheers!

I've got one of those in storage, it's probably faster than the Rocket, why pull its performance down and killing 85% of its compatibility by installing one?

Because, one can run MpegDec on the Centris while surfing the web from the Rocket without any slowdown at all!

I doubt it, Rockets and sound do not co-exist happily whatsoever and RocketShare is the nastiest AppleTalk HACK ever to use a mallet on an unsuspecting CPU to bash it senseless with an alarming level of predictability and unparalleled efficiency.

Dhamnit. Ah well, there goes my dream of running MpegDec and Nutscrape on a 68k all at once...

Hmm...good idea there...and if they'll sell me their spare PPC upgrade board, i'll try and put Copland on it, and then sell the 8100, giving it a higher PAF rating!

Hello...

looks like i'm late to the party here...but if anyone is still reading the thread, I'd appreciate a version of Rocketshare...v.1.3??
(well, whatever you've got...working on an ugly ugly hack for an older, Mac II based board...)

any help appreciated, thanks in advance.
