 *ix on an SE FDHD

what is the best *ix to run on an SE... with no hard drive? it might be impossible, bu just curious. also, how would i go about making a boot disk?

Minix definitely works on the 68000, and MacMiNT may work too. Using Minix on a floppy drive may be challenging though, since you will need Apple's system software to use it. Unfortunately, most versions of Unix require a 68020 and MMU.
