I'm fed up with my project PC's so I'm parting them out. Here's what I got, everything is GUARUNTEED to work!

Hard Drives:

2.5GB 5,400 rpm 3.5" ATA-66 (contains a good install of Windows 98 SE, no bad blocks) - $7
4GB 5,400 rpm 3.5" ATA-66 (empty, no bad blocks) - $10

CD-ROM:

24x generic ATA CD-ROM - $4

PCI Cards:

Two 3com 10/100 cards, both work very well, easy to configure - $7 each or both for $12
nVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 16MB video card. I found that it was able to play older games like Rogue Squadron and the original UT very well. Also supports 32-bit 2D up to 1600x1200! - $17

ISA Cards:

Two Soundblaster model 64 cards, both support 16-bit/44.1Hz sample/output. - $2.50 each
Advansys SCSI card. 50-pin internal and 50-pin high-density external connector, supports up to 10MB/s. - $7

Peripherals:

Generic 104-key PS/2 keyboard. Small, lightweight, white plastic - $4
Microsoft two-button serial mouse with serial-yo-PS/2 adapter. White, got it NOS - $3
Generic two-button, two axis joystick. Black with red buttons, connects to serial port on sound card. Bought it NOS - $4

Monitor:

Sony Trinitron Multiscan 15sf 15" CRT. 1280x1024 max for Windows and 1024x768 max for MacOS. Has some ugly artifacts in the upper-right-hand corner from someone stacking an unshielded pair of speakers on top of it! Otherwise works fine, will include VGA-to-Mac adapter and power cable - $6

CPU's:

Two IBM 300GL's, desktop models, completely bare. No RAM, hard drives, CD-ROM, memory, cards, etc. Just the mobo, PCI/ISA riser, floppy drives, IDE/power cables, and the 200MHz Pentium 1 MMX chips. One of them has ball-point-pen graffitti on it. Will include power cables for both - $6 each

Prices do not include shipping. Money order or PayPal only. Gracias!

I never tried it, but I highly doubt it. It would have to have its ROM flashed to be recognized by MacOS, and I've never heard of this particular card being flashable. I can try googling around to see if it's possible, though.

If it won't do Mac and it supports glide, I'll take it for flight sim duty on an old Pentium board I've got kickin around here. We still need to hook up re that dead 280 & broken MiniDock too! I've been as bad lately as you were!

I thought only the 3DFX cards could support glide mode. So unless I missed something the TNT won't. You should pick up a cheap VooDoo 3 2000 or something. Last time I looked they were 40 USD but that was a few months ago. They can easily be flashed back and fourth between Mac and PC.

Incidently nothing I've seen makes UT look as good as a VooDoo 5

I would love that display... I need a good one. I also wouldn't mond... twitch... (get out of.. my head!!! GAH!!Kmwrlkn) -chortle- moving on... I wouldn't mind that old vid card ether. if I could flash the thing and use it in my mac... but alas... mine is an AIO. I'm holding out on a radeon 7000, because I hear that it has some sort of internal output for AIO macs. oh well. It'll proboly go into one of the PCI powermacs at school, because I'm such a nice dude.

THnxnx

PC 100 RAM is just PC 100 RAM, right?

I'm asking because I want to put it in my beige G3's. Assuming that they would work in there, I will take all four of them . If they dont work....um....nevermind

PC100 is PC100, but the Beige G3's used PC66 ram. I'm not sure if PC100 is backwards compatible to 66, like 133 is to 100.

it is, if you were to have a pc 100 ram chip in a 133 slot it would only operate at 100 and if in a 66 it would only operate at 66 same goes for the two others as well, if you were to install chips of different speeds, the slowest speed is what they all would operate at.

If Foetid doesn't take the RAM, I can use it for some of the PII PCs in our office. In that case, add it to my existing order for the IIfx stuff. Thanks,

/Mr Lynn

Sorry, all the RAM is sold, but so far everything else is available.

Also, I got a MS Blue mouse today and it came with a now useless to me USB-to-PS/2 adapter. This is only for connecting USB keyboards/mice/input devices to a Windows machine that has a PS/2 port, not the other way around. It has a female USB port and male PS/2 plug. $2.50 takes it!
