you can get 7.5.3 right from Apple's site and an update for 7.5.5, but you probably don't need it on that machine.jt  ™.

Yeah. That should cover everything. However, be sure to upgrade to 7.5.5 after installing 7.5.3. I've noticed a few little bugs in 7.5.3 that were fixed in 7.5.5. You can get 8.1 off Hotline. That's what I run on my 636. If you have a fast internet connection but your 636 doesn't have an ethernet port, then you can download with a mac that does and then use local talk or burn a cd to put it on the 636.mathgeek 68K Macs Liberated: LC, Performa 636, Mac Classic II
