The 64MB chip is PC-100.It is much faster than a 7500 would take. ----------------------- Yes I am matt from MAF. |

Besides being fast, wouldn't it not physically fit? FireWire is fast General, 4 star Forum moderator 68k Macintosh Liberation Army |

Looking at the PC-100 and the fpm(it may be edo) RAM chips, it sure looks like it would fit. One big difference is thatthe 7500's RAM is 5-volt, and the PC-100 is 3.3-volt, and as one who(years ago) tried to put a 3.3-volt edo (PowerMac 4400-style) chip into a Performa 6400(which uses 5-volt Dimms, fpm and/or edo), know that while it would fit, the machine would not even boot using 3.3-volt RAM. ----------------------- Yes I am matt from MAF. |
