I got 10 imagebanger II's from the same guy that I got the feetsmac from. He was going to toss them, so I liberated them! He needed more room in his basement . (for peecees! Bleh!)Some are yellow, some not, but all of 'em work. Imagine the racket of 10 of those things printing all at once! eeeeeeek! Just deleted the double post. Great find, though. I'm amazed though that you haven't violated the PAF yet! I don't have anywhere near as large scale a setup as you guys probably do, yet i'm rubbing up against the brick wall which is the PAF. Btw, you should try running them all at once. Make a recording. I wanna hear. -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

Positve PAF is usually on my side. My dad took me to that auction where we brought 6 macs and montiors home...my parents got me stuck on 68k when they bought a 512k for 5 bux at a garage sale...too bad I got rid of that one as far as space for my liberation goes, I just cleaned out my part of the garage (about 1/4 of a 2-car garage)

The easiest way not to violate the PAF is to network up the 68k Macs and let the rest of your family play games on them. Just this morning, my dad and my sister were playing Crystal Caliburn pinball on the 575 and the 5400.As far as liberating Macs goes, I go for quality, not quantity. After all, I can't use 5 Macs at once. When I liberate something that I know will just sit around, I give it away to someone who I know can make good use of it. I keep the Macs that I actually use. Think of it this way: if you were a Mac, would you rather live in a foster home with 25 other kids or one with 3 other kids? Plus, none of my Macs have to sit in the garage! Well, my garage is more of an extension to the house. It is insulated and climate controlled (heated/AC), so it isn't bad for them out in the garage, plus the macs in the garage are running servers, so they are not being neglected. quote: network up the 68k Macs and let the rest of your family play games on them
for this reason there are no longer fights over computers at my house. My little sister uses the peecee and 660av, I have my beige g3 and 550, and my mom uses the 840av or feetsmac for snood and AIM. quote: I give it away to someone who I know can make good use of it.
I have given 4 macs away to families who can't afford a computer. They can't afford the internet, so I load them with a big hard drive, RAM, and a bunch of games, and put a word processor on them, and throw in an imagebanger and a stack of computer paper. Cool. Unfortunately, I've tried the network gaming idea. Mum doesn't want to touch a computer. Dad loves it, so i can sometimes get away with it with him, but thats about it. -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 6

I've got an idea: connect all of them into an amplifier and plug the serial cable in. Make sure that there's only one printer with upstream, and print!~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0

Re: OldMacMan, I gotta agree with you, [u}Quality is better than Quantity.[/u] Sure it's great to have a pile of Apple hardware, but you can't really use more than one or two :) at a time. I've constanly tried to upgrade as I've gone along. I'm keeping selected models, but at the same time, I'm not going to keep 50 LC's lying around just so they don't end up in a landfill, that's just paranoid hoarding, which is a little scary...Macs Liberated: 9 - 6400/180 (main Mac), 660AV, 636CD, LCIII+, LCII (2), Classic II, Classic and SE.
