Hello, I just wanted to post something that has been bothering me recently....

Cam people please make sure that the screen size on your posts is set to 800x600. Some of the comerades here (me included) do not have acres of desktop space, and monitors that kick up to 1152x864 resolution, and people like me hate to have to scroll from side to side to read posts. I personally like to keep 1024x768 or below, because I do not wish to be blind at an early age.

thanx

That's the Long@$$ url bug rearing its ugly head and throwing that thread into Widescreen Mode.

You're probably complaining about ml5's Dell link. N-O-B-O-D-Y has a monitor that wide! I've asked him to bury it in text, but he's probably still asleep, he'll fix it as soon as he checks in again.

There are instances wher it's impossible to get some links to work in anything BUT Long@$$ format/Widescreen Mode tho. Then we need to live with it or give up posting the link, it's a judgement call in those cases.

Hurray! Someone else is using 2 page monochrome and portrait displays with their Macs. For old monitors, both of my TPDs are very sharp and easy on the eyes. A highly recommended viewing experience especially when working on page layouts

AYUP! me pats portrait! I actually only run my Portrait as a second monitor when I'm spreadsheeting or doing reports because it's EMI jitterfy's my PrecisionView 2150 (Two Page Color 1280x960x24bitx75Hz ) I haven't bothered to add shielding for full time use yet, but we've got a bunch of portrait luvin' comrades. Dunno of many other Two Page Monochrome Specialists tho.
