Are Power Macs supported? I was under the impression that it only worked with PPC processors in embedded devices whose hardware was supported, but I could be wrong. How are you planning to get drivers for ADB, MESH SCSI, MACE Ethernet, Mac video, and all the other things you'll need? I don't think QNX includes them. I have used neutrino on PeeCee, and it is cool, the photon interface is nice. QNX is nice period, you can modify the kernel in a thousand different ways to suit your needs. BTW, QNX will probally never go the way of the dinosaurs like Be Inc. did, QNX has the Niche in the embedded systems market CCC Lieutennant Commander (Pronounced Leftennant) 68k Macs Rescued: 2 Pluses, a 512KE, a Classic II, a Quadra 650, and a Quadra 660AV Contraband rescued: Power Computing PowerBase 200, and a PM 8600/300 Apple //s rescued: Apple //e |
