first time poster, so bare with me -

After reading through the site I got thinking about my families old macs sitting at home doing not a lot. We got a Mac Plus around the year they came out, and my dad has been doing his business work on it until just recently - and that's cause he sold the business!

We also picked up an SE a few years later - 2nd hand, so no idea what it's been through. Unfortunately, that bought the farm a while ago - something about a vacuum and the monitor. I wasn't around at the time, so I didn't get the full story. Unfortunately, it's been collecting dust ever since.

My family has decided that it might be time to upgrade from the Plus - we don't do things by halves here - so it may be my time to liberate the old girls and put them to some use.

Any suggestions?

Well....
if you can find an SE/30 in very good condition, and get some serious RAM for it, a couple gig hard drive, and either an ethernet card or a SCSI ethernet adapter...

You'd be sitting pretty, with nearly the same size system!

What would you like to do?
