my hand is raised... i don't really think it means anything, doesn't the software just communicate between host and destination and now hotline in between, or am i wrong?

If I were running a 68k related server, I'd use AppleShare or something instead of hotline.

If we used Appleshare instead of HotLine for the HL server then
people that do not have a mac that they can use to connect.

I don't think that this will affect us in any way. I don't think that any HL connections ever went through hotline in the first place.
