woa! there are these big stacks of lcs and quadras...a few of the really thin ones, and i saw one all in one quadra. nothing really exiting, but i did see some lc xsomething...lc xf..whatever, anyone know what the specs are on such a comp?there are stacks of monitors too, and hard drives, and cd drives, and ethernet hubs (i think thats what they are). probably about...50 macs? probably less, but there are a ton!they are below the cafeteria at my school. kids tell me they have gotten free ones before..i will talk to the tech guys and see if i can get some for free.no laptopstito |

Well, the 575/580 Macs (all-in-one Quadra) are quite nice, especially with a full 040 transplant. The MicroQuadra (605) is nice also. See if you can't pick up a Quadra 650/660av/700/800/840av/900/950 to run A/UX on. Real UNIX boxes (SGI/Sun/NeXT) are nice to have also.Take all the CD drives, Ethernet hubs, and hard drives. You can always find a use for them. As for the lc xf, you sure that's not a IIfx? The really fast 030 Mac made for the government to run A/UX?
