So I got my Debian CD recognized for installation on my Q605, and I'm mostly done with package installation, but now it's asking me to select my X Server Video Driver, and it provides the following list:

ati
chips
fbdev
glint
instt
mga
s3virge
savage
sis
tdfx
trident
vga

Some of those I recognize as WinTel chips, and others (ati, obviously) I recognize as Power Mac chips. But I don't know what to choose. Is it the obvious-looking one -- vga? What did you choose when you installed it, Dana?

fbdev would be your best bet here, but I don't speak from experience so YMMV.

FYI, fbdev is an X server for the Linux frame buffer. IIRC, linux-m68k run the frame buffer for display. That is what make me believe that fbdev should work.
