Howdy, folks! I'm thinking about starting plans for a super hack, involving my SE/30 and a spiffy new slot-loading SCSI CD-ROM drive (thanks Mike!) that came last week... wouldn't that be cool!? So, if there's anyone out there with some tips/ideas/warnings, I could sure use 'em. I've little-to-zero experience with case hacking/modding, and I know that (for starters) I'm gonna need a dremmel (sp?) tool to cut a slot big enough to insert the CD's. Ultimately, I've love to be able to insert the CD's down through the top, alà the G4 Cube. That would rock! Alternately, since I'm not sure the status of my SE/30 (it's not been booted in a while, and last time it was, it wouldn't start up right- checkerboard screen), I may try to pick up a cheap Color Classic for this mod. That would be far more impressive, I think, esp. if I could (later) upgrade it to a PPC, as has been done many times in Japan and here in the US. I only wish I had one of the 3 Color Classics that I bought at my old school in Georgia back in '99. Sigh. Okay, I'll wait for some feedback. Later! :-) SpaceBoyAppleBASIC FOREVER!
