Ok, it's my birthday (i'm 22!), help me out. My 17 inch display shot craps a couple of weeks ago so now I"m running 2 15 inch displays... but there is a catch. (there's always a catch) My apple multi scan 15 display switches between normal and having a blue tint to it. Has anybody opened one of these or have any clue of what could be causing a problem. At first is switches quite often between the 2, but after it's warmed up, it becomes slower and slower until it stops on either normal or blue tint. The blue wouldn't bother me, but it's more the flickering is probably going to give me a seizure or something. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... help _______________________ Sgt. Sounds like it may be another cold solder joint problem. I've seen a bunch of mentions on AF. Head over and search : cold + solder + joint+ monitor . . . and happy belated!

thanks for the help trash! Those problems sound similar to mine. I'm nervous about soldering on my display though.. i'll do some reading on how to proper discharge the tube and i'll look into it._______________________ Sgt.
