Present!

... sitting with a quizzical expression at a potential crossroads in my life. Do I accept the job I've just been offered (15 minutes ago) in the Cayman Islands, do I pursue the potential job I've got an inside line on in Hong Kong, or do I sit tight and carry on at the agency here in Sydney?

Ho hum.

Cheers!

Sounds like you can leverage the HK prospects into a ploy for more Cayman $ and you have a decent bird in hand in Sydney if both of the . . .

If any of these jobs involve a Quadra, jump at it. Pretty soon you will be indispensible! You have the support network, and our talents are pretty rare after all.

Just made it in from the bars closing. Had a good time out, shot darts, although I'd rather have shoot pool( I do better at that as I get myselsf obliterated). All in all, it was a good night to be out. Soon I'll enjoy the comfort of my wife and pass out to wake up and enjoy another day. How has your night been Trash? After all, you live in the city that never sleeps. The only thing that could make the time more enjoyable to me would be if a group of you guys could have joined me. Now that would have been a trip. (Litterally)

I hope everyone has had a good night, and a good morning to you all in Austrailia.

The Caymans sound exciting, but if you're anything like me (which you might not be, good for you!), you'll get bored off your @ss after the initial charm wears off and you realize it's just podunk with a beach and lots of $$$ laundering. I'd go for HK -- hustle and bustle, hyper-unregulated capitalism meets the New China -- historically, this is an amazing, fascinating time to be there.

My unsolicitied $.02.

Howdy, folks!
I'm just sitting around, enjoying my saturday off- playing "Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2" on my PS2, surfing the web, and just generally lounging around... If I can get motivated, I'm thinking about starting plans for a super hack, involving my SE/30 and a spiffy new slot-loading SCSI CD-ROM drive (thanks Mike!)... wouldn't that be cool!
Later, folks!
:-)
