The quaddoubler runs at 50 mhz. It only works in quadras whose speeds are 25 mhz. If you overclocked the mac with a crystal occilator swap, would the amount of speed increase under normal circumstances be doubled? It just seems logical to me that the quaddoubler runs at twice the system speed, so it might use the occilator to regulate itself, just at double the normal value. Anyone know how it works?

It's dangerous .It's not stable.You must calculate the value of this famous oscillator and buying another fan to refresh the 68k.the maximum speed is 66 Mz.An finally a rom problem appear ( management ).You can get some enabler system. Google " oscillator " on the net. A site to live on the net but i have forgotten the name. Google " upgrade 68K or overclock " Several solutions are proposed but perhaps it's the evil dead.
