I have a KeySpan SXPro 4 port serial card for my G4.are there similar type cards for NuBus Macs? I'm thinking specifically for a Q950 or a II, for purposes of server/router functions. Need serial ports of SLIP interface. ~Marchie ~Chaplain Marchie Admin of The WonderLAN ~~"We are all Mad here"~~ |

That may be a mismarked item, I believe that company also made a NuBus parallel port card, can't remember if it had the same or a different name tho. They also had a 2 port FAST serial port card called the Hustler, IIRC.We used a Hurdler card to support additional modems/lines on the FirstClass BBS at NYMUG, but I wasn't involved in that part of operations, so I didn't have any personal experience with the setup other than as a user, it seemed to work fine AFAIK. jt ™. I have an Applied Engineering QuadraLink, which is a Mac II-era 4-port NuBus serial expansion card. Unfortunately I've just sold it as part of a loaded IIci package, to someone on LEM swap. He's getting a great deal: IIci 8/500, cache card, this card, an 8-bit video card, and a Shiva Etherport II ethernet card (coax though), all for $14 plus shipping. Sorry for not offering the card here, but I offered the IIci for sale here once, and I offered the cache card and the ethernet card separately by themselves, and every single person who expressed interest simply stopped responding to my emails when it came time to actually send the money. In contrast, I've never had an LEM-swap person duck out of a transaction. So them's the breaks... No rank
