Can somebody please xplain to me why the bid on this TiBook is up to nearly DOUBLE the MSRP?? Or are the bidders simply ON CRACK???

I have the feeling that the person bidding is the same person that is selling, just to drive the cost up. Noone in their right mind would pay over $6K for a TiBook.

I think you're absolutely correct. The seller has no feedback and the auction is private, thus the bidding parties aren't viewable. I guess the seller is on crack, which is usually the case, anyway.

I'd bet they were on crack to, 19 bids?? I'm sure most were from the seller...

Macs Liberated: 9 - 6400/180 (main Mac), 660AV, 636CD, LCIII+, LCII (2), Classic II, Classic and SE.

Hmm. My guess is that this auction is a way for someone to transfer money to someone else. I think it's some kind of backdoor business deal, or tax dodge, or worse.
