I have the feeling that the person bidding is the same person that is selling, just to drive the cost up. Noone in their right mind would pay over $6K for a TiBook.------------------ Captain Z - Mobile Operations Commander 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 23 68K Macs Liberated Visit Captain Z's Starbase of EV Stuff |

I think you're absolutely correct. The seller has no feedback and the auction is private, thus the bidding parties aren't viewable. I guess the seller is on crack, which is usually the case, anyway. 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hotline Server: 840av.sytes.net

Hmm. My guess is that this auction is a way for someone to transfer money to someone else. I think it's some kind of backdoor business deal, or tax dodge, or worse. Matt No rank Permanent 68k roommates: Q605 full '040 36/1.2G/enet/7.6.1-NetBSD dual-boot SE/30 FPU 20/500/enet/A/UX |
